The new moon has nothing it is just dark.
The warning crescent is the same as the full moon but it has a little half moon on the corner.
1st Qtr Is the same as the last Qtr.
Waxing gibbous the waxing gibbous moon is nearly half size of the moon seen on earth
The full moon is a circle full moon.
Last Qtr is a halved shaped moon.
